Prerequisites

Undergraduate entry standards and pre-requisites

All students applying for a course at the University of Melbourne must satisfy the entry requirements for that course. You are eligible for entry into the Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne if you have:

  • Successfully completed the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or an equivalent qualification (International Baccalaureate (IB): English - a result of at least grade 4 in either Standard Level or Higher Level).
  • Achieved a study score of at least 25 in English/English Language/Literature, or at least 30 in ESL
  • Met the English language requirements.

The 2012 Clearly-in ATAR for the Bachelor of Arts is 90.9.
