Melbourne attracts the best and brightest students and researchers and, with a history of over 160 years, we occupy a special place at the heart of our city’s cultural scene.
Join a club
The University of Melbourne has over 200 affiliated clubs and societies. Clubs are a great way to meet new friends, explore new interests and develop new skills.
Our students form clubs and societies not just because they love their course, but also because they enjoy a range of activities. Clubs range from cultural, religious and political to musical and recreational.
Travel the world
Our students have researched at Europe’s oldest university in Bologna, studied French in Quebec, developed their knowledge of physics in Japan, learned about management in the fashion industry in Milan, and developed their community skills in Chile - all while enrolled in a University of Melbourne degree.
Through our Exchange program you can study at some of the world's most prestigious institutions. You'll get a competitive edge when you enter the workplace, as employers are always looking for international experience, and best of all, have an amazing experience.
